Dumbarton, who host Peterhead on Tuesday, are without midfielders Alan Cook and Craig McLeish due to injury.
A point separates Dumbarton from Peterhead ahead of the two successive meetings of the sides, as both look to move clear of the relegation zone.
Peterhead manager Neale Cooper: "Dumbarton have undoubtedly improved recently and are playing with a lot of energy and confidence.
"They are undefeated in four games but I have told our players I want us to take six points from the next two games and move back above them.
"We have been up and down all season and I want us to keep to a high level from here on in."
Dumbarton manager Alan Adamson: "There is light at the end of the tunnel after a dark period when we were bottom of the table but we need to keep doing what we have been doing to reach it.
"There are six huge points at stake in the next two games against Peterhead and winning the first three up there would be a great start."
