Last updated : 16 April 2011 By DSG

Second-half goals from Scott Sally and Scott Morton gave Airdrie a 2-1 home win over Dumbarton to keep their slim play-off hopes alive.

Dumbarton took the lead after 16 minutes when Jordan Halsman found the bottom corner with a free-kick from just outside the area.

Ryan McCord almost equalised for United two minutes later but he headed wide from close range.

Scott Gemmill came close again for the home side six minutes after half-time when his shot from six yards was well saved by Sons goalkeeper Michael White.

They eventually levelled after 76 minutes, Sally easily heading home from Phil Johnston's cross.

And five minutes later the turnaround was complete, with Johnston centring again with Morton providing the close-range finish.
