Fleming penalty sinks AlloaGarry Fleming's first-half penalty was enough to secure a vital win for Dumbarton against Alloa as they moved clear of the relegation places.Liam Buchanan should have put the visitors in front when he rounded Danny Rogers early on, but fired wide from a difficult angle.On the stroke of half-time Kevin Cawley was tripped by Dylan Easton inside the penalty area and Fleming sent Craig McDowall the wrong way to put the hosts ahead.Somehow the ball did not end up in Dumbarton's net when Rogers fumbled a corner before Buchanan's drive was deflected over.The goalkeeper made amends for his error by pulling off a brilliant save to tip Greg Rutherford's effort onto the crossbar as the hosts held on for their first win of 2015.Visitors Alloa drop into the Scottish Championship relegation play-off place after Cowdenbeath picked up a point at Rangers
