Dumbarton and Alloa picked up a vital point apiece in their bid to avoid the Second Division relegation play-off place after battling out a 2-2 draw at the Strathclyde Homes Stadium.
Dumbarton are now four points above ninth-placed Stenhousemuir, while Alloa are two points clear but both teams have played a game more than their rivals.
Craig McLeish calmly slotted the home side into a 36th-minute lead, but Michael McGowan equalised for Alloa in the 48th minute with a fierce long-range strike.
Dumbarton were back in the lead within 60 seconds as Andrew Geggan poked home from close range following Jon McShane's lay-off.
McGowan latched onto Kurtis Byrne's through ball to slot into the bottom corner in the 78th minute, earning his side a valuable point.
